Biography

The band was born in 1997 in Lecco by Andrea Aromatisi and Emiliano Alquà. It passed various changes and finally met Matteo Binda and Paolo Micheli. They gave a new push and introduced new sounds. With this formation the four guys has exhibited in more than 200 concerts in Italy, as well in Germany, Poland, Czech Repubblic, Holland and Switzerland. In those three years the band has also participated to a lot of festivals like Rumori Molesti, organized from the C.A.G. The Parchetto with Persiana Jones, Radici nel Cemento and Vallanzaska, Garlate Rock Fest (organized by Radio104) and Hurricane Festival. In January 2003 the band signed up to be member of the live organization agency HM Booking Agency participating to the first and to the second festivals that it has organized.

The Agabus proposes original songs (Post Thrash Core Metal) found in their CD called Agabus, auto-produced in October 2001, and covers of several metal bands (Sepultura, Obituary, System of a Down, Biohazard and Pantera). In January 2003 the band started to collaborate with STD Underground Distribution and Agabus Promo 2001 was distributed in South Italy, in Europe (Germany, Austria and France) and in Japan like a promotional copy. In May 2003 the band was selected from Radio Lupo Solitario to participate in a compilation that it was producing at that time. In July 2003 the band recorded their new single track called The Hive of Damage. In October 2003 Indigestible Sounds (compilation produced by the staff of the radio programme) came out. In November 2003 exits Blown to pieces 2 compilation, produced by the Dutch label Fear Some Records. The bands included in the compilation are 20 and they are from all over the world.

In January 2004 Matteo Binda leaves the band and is quickly replaces by Roberto Randazzo. In August 2004 the band enters the Mirage Recording Studios of Andrea Trapasso in Inverigo (CO) and records the second promo CD, Last Way Left.

In November 2006 the bands signs a 3 years contract with the American Libereation Records Inc. for the distribution of Last Way Left. They finds also a deal with Risingwork Production in order to print the next album that will be promoted by Alkemist Fanatix Europe. The album will be produced by Frank Andiver (ex-Labyrinth) at the Zenith Recording Studio in Lucca. It will be released for the end of 2007.
